Killzone 2 is coming Feb 27, 2009 Review IGN 9.4+
I played the beta...It played well then, and now reports are coming in better. Even the so-called bias reviewers on the PS3 like this game.

Finding a Clan
I decided to drop out of WAT. Even though I was an associate leader, I found communications with other members were a problem. So, I decided to enlist myself in services to another clan. And starting out cold turkey is tough and a lot of work.
So, if you are looking for clan...here are some tips.
1. Best way, is go on www.us.playstation.com and look around the forums under the game your interested in. Lots of Clans post recruiting events. Allowing you to research their websites for more information. Try to find one that seems to be a good fit.
2. Go on the forums and post that you are looking. Give some information about what you are looking for and what you can contribute.
3. Play the game and notice that some people in other clans may notice your play and manners. You never know when you may meet again- maybe on the same team someday.
4. Look for tryouts in the servers. Remember to ask permission when joining. In Socom...you do not want to have a lot of kicks...people will avoid you.
5. Internet Search Engines...another idea of finding clan websites of the games you are interested in.
--Some more advice is to be yourself. Yourself will come out eventually. Make sure your new buds will be a good fit with who you are. Otherwise, you become just another clan jumper with no home and a lot of time waisted.

Socom -adjustments to ds3 controller
In Socom, I found the Taunts/Orders on the L2 button to be a real pain... You can not disable the feature, but we can move the tap feature. So, here is how to move taunts/orders to the d-pad.
from Main menu
1. go to options
2. select wireless controller
3. select control schemes
4. select left or right the control scheme you like most
5. move down to select EDIT LAYOUT
6. move left L3 to the feature you want to adjust yellow-like taunts/orders
7. select it and turns orange to be move to another location - like left d-pad
8. Push O circle one time to back out
9 and then Save Changes
10. When saving changes will allow us to save up 5 slots--nice.

WAT Clan Recruitment Video for Socom

Joining mutiple clans...?
Something, I should bring up is with all the stats may be lost if you switch clans in Socom or other games. A pratical solution to this is simply create a sub-account, so you can start of fresh and new.
Warning! Most clans would not take too lightly if you join others, so make sure it is cool with them if you do this. Right now WAT is cool with this...but like I said others may not.

Socom WAT Clan
WAT is Wicked Alliances Team is now forming with WickedFox24 and caliman87 for the game Socom Confontation on the PS3. We are currently working on a website for easy communication with clan mates. We decided to create our own due to lack of communication we often find when playing games online. Socom is not a game where you can run and gun...an organized team would be fun to dominate the scene. Right now all we ask for is a good internet connection, a mic, and be able to work with our team.

New Year 2009
Currently, I am waiting on getting back online next Tuesday...got into a fight with ATT regarding my bill. Comcast didn't want to make any good deals. So, I am going with Surewest Broadband. Fiber Optic...10 up/down. Yeah!!! Starting Tues Jan 13th.
Anyways, checkout the new things happening on Sony's playstation website.

-the end of December they made some pleasant upgrades to their sites and are more helpful in learning about your PS3. They now offer free tutorials on youtube that you can see through your browser. Plus, you can find on us.playstation.com the new Pulse magazine which is free and has a nice pretty host to show you more playstation goodness.
More improvements are said to be coming soon too.

Socom 1.3 with trophies and better online stability and features coming any day.
